I’ll be playing at the Flat Iron Cafe – Saturday November 21 from 8-11 PM. There is no cover charge. The Flat Iron Cafe is located at 444 Centre Street – phone is 508-947-3358. This is the Everett Square section of downtown Middleboro – junction of Everett and Centre Street.

This will be a solo acoustic gig – something that is a bit new to me. I’ve been in numerous bands – currently a bluegrass band and a smaller two to three piece outfit. I’ll be playing a mix of old time, bluegrass, folk, and deep cuts from bands like The Beatles, Warren Zevon, Tom Waits, and a smattering of original music.

The Flat Iron has asked for an attendance estimate so please let me know if you plan on coming – but don’t be afraid to show up if you decide to come at the last minute. Facebook users can also reply at the Facebook event page.

Bring a friend or two but leave the rotten tomatoes at home. I’m hoping this will be fun night and a good way to kick of the holiday season. This is the Saturday before Thanksgiving – a night of good friends and hopefully good music before the holiday madness starts in earnest.

    Hey Mark:

I will try to be there! Unfortunately, because it’s an indoor, public gathering Elisabeth will have to miss it (fragrance exposure possibility). But, assuming all is as I expect it to be, I’ll be there rooting for you!
