Guest posters wanted
One thing I’ve always wanted for my blog is some other writers. If you have an itch to scratch, or an issue you’d like to discuss, submit it to me and I’ll publish it – providing it passes the sniff test.
I’d also welcome permanent contributors – people who would have an account on nemasket.net and submit articles that would then be published after review. With everything going on in town, there are lots of issues I’d like to write about but lack the time and expertise to do so. As a for instance, the proposed override is a hot issue. I’m on the fence with it but would gladly publish the thoughts of proponents or opponents.
I’d prefer people use their names, or at least a regular pseudonym ala Bumpkin. I’d welcome content on any subject – arts, entertainment, local news, politics, technology, etc. and so forth. I’d especially like people that serve on local boards that would like to highlight an issue that might not make it to prime time. I don’t particularly care if you share my positions or not. Everyone is free to disagree with me and be totally wrong. Maybe you just want to announce some meeting or other – whatever.
What I don’t want is people who want to spam me with a bunch of junk in order to create chaos.
Without knowing how much traffic other blogs in town get, I’d say that this one gets as much or more than most. More content means more traffic, more discussion, and more fun.
