North Street: Middleboro’s newest hot spot.

By , September 9, 2010 8:46 am

North Street in Middleboro has become quite a hotbed of activity with vehicle fires on two consecutive days this week.
.
On Monday a camper burst into flames – an incident the police called suspicious. Then on Tuesday a car was set on fire by some chuckleheads throwing molotov cocktails. Police have made four arrests in the incident. That one was right next door to some friends of mine.
.
To add to the coincidences, on the very same day of the camper fire, Mrs. Bumpkin slightly overcooked some sirloin tips ….. SPOOKY. Ahh, the word “spooky” caused a random neuron to fire and has gotten me thinking of Halloween. Suggestions for a Halloween story for my Middleboro Gazette column are welcome.

    Bumpkin,
Why not ask around and find out what the findings were a few months ago, when, yet another, paranormal group came to town.
Perhaps, that can go under “other” at a BOS meeting, before another group uses it for their theme at a Haloween gala in town.
You could take it and write up a story to let the town know in a nice “journalistic” way.
Your articles are so great and informative and nicely written.
